What is Joshua House?

Our mission is to reach kids, youth & young adults in every day life through personal & power encounters with the Holy Spirit and unconditional love, and then provide a safe place for them to come and grow up in God.

The Model has 4 Components:

• Personal & Power Encounters with the Holy Spirit
  • An individual or team anointed by God and trained to pray for others to be touched by God.
    • Praying for salvation, healing & freedom
  • These encounters may be spontaneous in everyday life or in planned "Power Meetings" where the Holy Spirit is invited to move as individuals respond to prayer.
    
• A Local Point Person
  • An individual with a deep burden to reach kids at all costs.
  • An individual anointed, trained and experienced in praying for others to be touched with the power of God
    • Salvation, healing & freedom
• A Place
  • Located in an area where kids hang out
  • Not a conventional rec. center or coffee house atmosphere
  • Kids are attracted there by the power & love of God
  • A safe place where kids can come to hang out, play games, watch TV, etc.
  • Center for "Power Meetings", training, discipleship & counseling
  • No Alcohol, drugs and sex
• Supervision & Support
  • A supervisory board assembled with input from Jim Kilmartin and/or Perry Babb
  • Board member requirements:
    • Embracing the current move of God's Spirit
    • A genuine burden for kids
    • Governmental gifts appropriate for supervision
  • Local churches/pastors involvement which will not cause competition between congregations
  • Joshua House is incorporated as a non-profit, charitable organization
